Going to the Chapel
I’ve always been a little obsessed with vintage charms, especially the mechanical ones, and with charms (and their real-life counterparts) that represent the many religions of the world.
This sweet sterling silver vintage chapel (or church) charm opens to reveal a bride, groom, and minister/priest. The bride wears a long veil, a tiny detail that makes it even more endearing.
It sits slightly off center among an array of absolutely color drenched gemstones: peridot, rhodolite garnet, vivid orange-red sapphire, amethyst, mossy lime green vesuvianite, lemon quartz, a brilliant magenta rubellite tourmaline oval, tanzanite, and smooth cobalt kyanite. Tiny 1.8mm sterling silver beads are scattered between the gems for sparkle and contrast.
The bracelet is finished with a sterling coil (neatly hiding the beadalon), a sterling lobster clasp with links, and a dangling lemon quartz accent.
Adjusts from 7.5” to just shy of 8”.
